• Cause the best things in life are free

Whether you’re seeking reflection, connection, creativity, or simply a space to be yourself … the Core Collective is where you belong.

Our next gathering will be January 3rd at 8 am, Seven Mile Creek Park, St. Peter.

  • Monday, January 12th | 6-8 pm

This January, YWCA Mankato’s Adult Banned Book Club turns the page to All American Boys by Jason Reynolds, a powerful, frequently challenged novel that confronts racism, police violence, and the uncomfortable truths many would rather avoid.

Told through multiple perspectives, All American Boys asks us to sit with hard questions about identity, accountability, and what it truly means to be an ally. It’s honest. It’s urgent. And it’s exactly the kind of story meant to be read, and discussed, in community.

  • School’s out, adventure is on!

Join YWCA Mankato for Artful Adventures, a one-day field trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art for girls and gender-expansive youth (grades 3–12).

Explore world-class art, spark creativity, and connect with new friends in a day full of color, culture, and confidence.

  • January 27th 6-8 pm

At YWCA Mankato, we believe creativity is more than a hobby, it’s a tool for wellness, reflection, and change. Join us for January’s Adult Craft Night and create subversive collages … an expressive, hands-on way to process, reclaim, and reimagine the stories we carry.

YWCA Mankato is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
